Contact Centre Executive

Location: Doncaster City Centre
Salary: £ 16000 (full-time (per year))

Working as part of a large team dedicated to the Backing Young Britain contract for a national welfare to work provider in Doncaster City Centre. The role is responsible for contacting by phone young unemployed people from across the UK referred to the provider by Job Centre Plus. You will explain to them the benefits of the programme including internships and work placements with employers. You will carry out diagnostic interviews with them over the phone, match them against available positions and facilitate contact between them and the employer to help make their internship a success. The process includes making regular contact to employer and participant by phone to resolve queries and ensure that their internship is a success.


Requirements
ESSENTIAL:
1. Able to evidence experience in the use of computer for data entry (ideally using a database system within a contact centre environment – note: being able to use a computer is not enough). Must also have fast and accurate keyboard skills.
2. Customer Service Experience. Must have experience in either; retail, call handling or similar role where regular proactive interaction with customers was a key part of the role.
3. Being able to demonstrate high quality interpersonal communication skills. Including presenting a positive, clear, concise, accurate and friendly phone manner.
4. Evidence of being able to plan and organise work activities with prioritising a range of connected activities to achieve an outcome.
5. Demonstrate being able to make accurate, well reasoned and thought out decisions that will have real consequences for other individuals.


DESIRED:
Previous experience in a call/contact centre. Being able to evidence experience of working extensively with young people. A previous background in recruitment, welfare to work or in publically funded skills and training organisation whilst by no means required will be of interest.
